About  Dr. Talwar

Dr. Talwar received her Doctor of Dental Science from Loma Linda University and has completed several postgraduate programs  and MS in Prosthodontics from University of Maryland , which is dedicated to the cosmetic and  reconstructive dentistry.  She is a Diplomate of American Board of Prosthodontics and a Fellow of The American College of Prosthodontists. She has received membership of Faculty of Dental surgery from  Royal College of Surgeons of Glasgow, UK.

Dr. Talwar has been recognized as the country’s top dentist in cosmetic and reconstructive dentistry by Consumers Research Council of America since 2013 and recently in 2021  by  the Washingtonian magazine as one of the Top Prosthodontists in Washington DC tristate area.

Prosthodontics is  a Dental specialty which required three years of additional training after one has become a dentist.  The specialty focuses on complex cosmetic and reconstructive Dentistry. It encompasses reconstruction of missing / worn out dentition leading to loss of articulation,  affecting the form and function of the face.

Dr Talwar been practicing  general dentistry, cosmetic dentistry, implant dentistry, Prosthodontics and reconstructive dentistry for nearly two decades.   She uses the latest technological innovations in dentistry, including immediate placement and restoration of implants, computer-guided surgery, veneers, crowns, and teeth in a day,  cerec restorations,  all on 4 concept prosthesis.

Dr. Talwar takes extensive continuing education on a regular basis to further her expertise and be conversant with latest in the field of dentofacial reconstruction.

Dr. Talwar helps community by providing pro bono services to patients in need. She participated in Smiles Across Loudoun events assisted local community with free dental services.
